Question QUESTION: Hi,
I haven't been too interested in the whole music world for too long. A lot of the time I hear people discussing music and I don't know what they're talking about. I don't know of many bands or artists. I don't know how in the world people hear 3 seconds of a song and can identify what it is and who sang it.
I know this is an unusual situation, but how do think I can get to learn more about this kind of stuff? (It's kind of useless having an iPod with no good music on it.)
ANSWER: I know exactly what you're felling. I was the same way once, now look at me...how things change. Anyway...the best way to get to know songs is to listen to the radio and talk to your friends. Aak your friends if they have any good CD's they could lend you. If you hear a good song on the radio you can ask them "what was that song that went like..." and stuff like that. A couple of websites you could go to would be projectplaylist.com where you can pick and choose your own music to make your own playlist and music.aol.com.
