Question
Mmmmkay..does today's music(hardcore, rap, hip-hop,metal,emo/screamo, punk, etc.) effect today's society and the way people of today act?

Answer
Okay, well since I have answered this so many times, I guess I will do it one more time but please, once you are done reading this, go to my past questions and look at the answers I have previously given out. I get a lot of these questions and have answered it and all shapes and forms so please take a look at those answers as they are more specific.

Ok, so to your question. Today's music does effect today's society and the way people act today. Every generation's music effects them. Well they sort of effect each other. Let me explain, music can effect the way someone is thinking because it just hits the right note and that person is very moved by it. This music can influence the person to a point. How is this music made? By the generation of course musicians have influences and a lot of those influences are other bands. So the cycle is made by someone listening to a band, them liking that band and wanting to make music like their idol, they make music and influence other people to do the same.

Does music directly effect society? Why not? We see people wanting to be like their favorite music artists and so they dress and act like them. Such as rap artists, a lot of people like them and so they wear baggy clothing and pretend to be from the ghetto even from if they are from a rich neighborhood. Punks, goths, rockers, hip hoppers, everyone. Because of their new ideals, they can effect the society by fashion, trend, and even economically. How can this economically happen? Simple, Goths like to wear black and chains so they go off to Hot Topic and buy their gear which causes Hot Topic to have an increase in business which causes stocks to rise and therefore, change economy.

If you have any other questions, please go back to my previous answers to see if I have already given that question my attention. If I don't answer it, please e-mail me again.
