Question
hi my name is Isis and i am 16 and an eleventh grader. my period is about 2 months late and i have took a pregnancy test and it was negative. my boyfriend thinks i should try another one. i am gaining weight non stop and craving that's it! i don't know what to do oh and the funny thing is that i used protection and i am not stressed i haven't been sick and i don't have massive weight loss or gain. Why am i missing my period? And should I take another test?
Answer Dear Isis,
You should absolutely take another test ASAP. If it comes back negative, get to a doctor to get a blood test. Some women who are in fact pregnant still get a negative result on home pregnancy tests.
It really does sound like you are pregnant, although there is no way I can tell for sure over the internet. Even if you aren't, missing two periods is serious and you need to find out what is wrong by being examined by your doctor.
Let me know how everything turns out!
Best wishes,
Deb
