Subject: trying
Question im nearly 16 and my bf is nearly 20. we feel we are both ready for a baby, we have tried once but it was right after my period and nothing happened. i dont have a certain amount of days between my periods. i dont understand when we should start trying as i dont know when im ovulating.
Answer Dear Sasha,
Are you sure you don't have any idea how many days you have between periods? How do you know when to expect the next period to come?
Its very difficult to predict ovulation if you don't have at least a small idea of the timing of your cycle. Most people ovulate approximately 14 days after the first day of their periods.
Also, when you say you and your boyfriend feel you are ready, what does that mean, exactly?
Write back,
Deb
