Question Hello me and my gf had unprotected sex on June 20. She had just got off her
period that day and isnt that the worst time to get pregnant? Well we had
unprotected sex but i pulled out and after i pulled out i kind of cummed a
little but stoped it, I hadnt cummed before that for at least three to four days.
So not much sperm was in my pre cum right?
But the day after that I fingered her and when i stopped I had a dark brown
liquid on my finger, she said it was just left over stuff from her period and it
happens a lot.
What do you think about all of this?
Answer Dear Sam,
The worst (as in most unlikely) time to get pregnant would be right before and during a woman's period. Having sex on the last day of a period isn't safe because:
1. Sperm can live many days inside of a woman's body, some sources say up to 5 days, others say up to 7 days.
2. You can never be sure when a woman will ovulate. She could ovulate early, your sperm could still be alive, and BINGO! Pregnancy.
You are correct about not much sperm being in your precum. I would say there would be none, because the latest research shows the only way sperm gets into precum is from a previous ejaculation, before a man has urinated. Once you urinate you clear out any remaining sperm.
Your gf is correct about the dark brown liquid on your finger being left over from her period.
What I think is that the two of you should find a reliable birth control method, and use condoms also. As far as your gf being pregnant now, I would say the possibility is there, but it's very small. There's nothing you can do now until it's time for her next period. If she misses her period, get a home pregnancy test.
A missed period is one of the first symptoms of pregnancy. Any symptom earlier would be probably not related to pregnancy.
