Question me and my girlfriend were having sex about 2 weeks ago and now shes feeling lower stomach pain on one side and lower back pain but she hasnt thrown up yet. could she be pregnant even if i didnt penetrate and ejaculate inside of her but got precum in her.
Answer Dear Stan,
Lower stomach pain and lower back pain are not pregnancy symptoms. The first symptom people usually get is a missed period. If she does miss a period, then she can take a home pregnancy test.
The only way to be sure of a pregnancy is to take a pregnancy test if she misses a period. You can purchase home pregnancy tests at drugstores or go to health centers to take pregnancy tests. Pregnancy tests work by detecting a hormone called the human chorionic gonadotropin hormone (HCG). HCG is the hormone that supports pregnancy and starts being released when the fertilized egg implants itself and pregnancy begins. The earliest the test would work is around the same time she would miss a period.
Now as far as the liklihood that she is pregnant, how would precum have gotten into her if you didn't penetrate and ejaculate inside of her? Do you mean precum was on your fingers?
Precum by itself, according to the latest research, does not contain sperm on it's own. What may happen sometimes is that leftover sperm in your penis from a previous ejaculation may mix with the precum and cause pregnancy that way.
However, there are so few sperm involved, and since the sperm have a long way to travel without being ejaculated into the vagina, there's almost no way they could impregnate your girlfriend.
