Question
Hey I was talking with chanel but she went on vacation. I had sex on all the 12 to 16 days to have the chance of getting pregnant the two ovulation days and the day after the 16th day I went to have a pap smear and my doctor said I might have spotting or something but I thought I would be right away and that day I did not have spotting but the day after I did have a spotting and it was once after I went to the bathroom..is the spotting bc I might be conceiving and the egg is attatching to the uterus or is it becuz of the exam?

Answer
Dear Georgina,

I would say the spotting was from the exam, because there aren't enough days between the 12th and 16th for an embryo to be anywhere near implanting yet.  It takes about 2 weeks from the date of sexual activity for an embryo to be implanting.

Take care,

Deb
