Question Hi well I had sex last month with this boy and he used a condom...I know for a fact.but this month I didn't get my period and im freaking out. I usually have a weird period it comes at anytime last month it came on the 18 and now its the 24th of this month so I could still get it right??
Also I've been having pains in my boobs but the pain ONLY comes when I think about it. I get some sort of pain in my lower part of my vagina.
Just today I had a light brown discharge and the past couple days had a watery discharge that usually happens after my period.
But do you think I really might be pregnant?
Im like really scared im only 16.
Answer Dear Avery,
Anytime you have sex, even with a condom or on birth control or both, you can still get pregnant. As far as your period and when it's due, if it's late you can take a home pregnancy test. The results are usually pretty accurate if you follow the directions carefully. For example, take the test first thing in the morning.
Don't panic, you have lots of options here, and you may not even be pregnant. Write back after you take the test and let me know what happened.
