Question
I really need to know if i could be pregnant ok me an my boyfriend had sex unprotected on june 24...june 29 my period i guess came one...then july 2 it was i thought off...but i was still spotting afterwards<meaning we had sex again>. So is there any chance that i could be...I just need some advice on what to do an when i need to take a pregnancy test because i think its still to soon

Answer
Dear Aulissha,

You can't be pregnant from the sex you had on the 24th of June because you got your period after that.  So you are worried about getting pregnant from the July 2nd time, correct?

Have you missed your period since then?  You should have gotten your period around July 21st or 22nd, right?  The rule of thumb is, you can test when at least 2 weeks have gone by since the date of sexual activity.  For you it's been a month, so you can definitely test NOW.

Best wishes,

Deb
