Question
Ya my name is Cory i am 17 my fiancee lives in Philadelphia pa. we are going threw some issues right now about her being pregnant see wants to move with me i live in Indiana is there any way she can move here without parental permission or does she have to deal with emancipation.

Answer
Dear Cory,

If your fiancee is under 18, and her parents will not give her permission to move in with you, then yes, she probably needs to deal with emancipation.
Emancipation might not be as difficult to achieve as you think, especially because she is pregnant.  She has to show that she will be able to take care of herself, as in, financially supporting herself.  How will the two of you live?  Who will pay the rent, buy the food, and pay for everything else?  These are the questions the judge will ask.

Good luck,

Deb
