Question
My boyfriend and I have had sex a few times. My period is always irregular though. But last week we has sex and right after I started to bleed its been two weeks and the bleeding hasn't stopped. I am eating more then usual and feel as if I am gaining weight. I don't know why I am spotting so much. Please help me, can I be pregnant? We don't use protection!!

Dear Jasmine,
The bleeding does not seem to be related to pregnancy. It takes about 2 weeks after unprotected sex for the embryo to implant, and that is a likely cause of any spotting. It's called "implantation bleeding".
You should call your doctor and find out what is causing this.
