QUESTION: Christy had sex on March 28th and ok she had sex April 30th she didnt have a period in May but christy had sex on May 30th and May 31st christy took a pregnacy test on June 3rd and it said she was pregnant....so when did she conceived and the baby came on January 31st she went into labor on Janaury 26th,if it would have been march the chirsty was 10 months pregnant can you be pregnant for that long aint the plactea start to deteriate

If this is a paternity question, why not just have a DNA test done?
Why didn't she have her period in May? It's pretty clear that she was pregnant already isn't it?
Yes, you can be pregnant for 10 months, because the average pregnancy is 40 weeks. 40 divided by 4 (weeks)= 10 (months). Doctors start counting pregnancy from the woman's last menstrual period, so for two weeks of a woman's "pregnancy" she hasn't even conceived yet.
So let's say I start my period January 1. I actually ovulate January 14th and the egg gets fertilized January 14th. My doctor considers me to be pregnant since January 1.
So take January 26th and count backwards 40 weeks. You need a calendar to do this.
I would say her last menstrual period was sometime around April
22 and she conceived from the sex she had on April 30th.

QUESTION: thank u but if she was having sex on may 30 and 31 can that affect the baby dna and can swallowing semen change it 2 its just a qustion mame

Dear Tani,
No, there is no way that having sex while you are pregnant can change the DNA of the baby. Swallowing semen cannot not effect it, either.
Is this a case where the father doesn't believe he is the father? He can request a dna test and find out 100% whether he is the father or not.
