Subject: im really young
Question hi im christine , im 13 years old . and im pregnat and im really worried. im not willing to tell my parents but i have no money to get a abortion and my body isn't ready for a baby.so what should i do.?
Answer Dear Christine,
The boy who got you pregnant should come up with the money for an abortion. Depending upon how old he is, he could be in really, really big trouble for having sex with someone as young as you are.
I don't know what state you live in, but in case you live some where that does not allow minors to have an abortion without telling their parents, check out this website:
http://www.janesdueprocess.org/info_preg_teens/preg_options/judicial_bypass.htm
This site will explain how to obtain an abortion without telling your parents. Another great resource is Planned Parenthood. Get your telephone book out and look them up. You could also type this into google:
(whatever state you are in) planned parenthood
This will bring up the nearest planned parenthood center to where you live. Call them and ask about how to pay for an abortion, and they will also help to guide you through the judicial bypass procedures which help you to not involve your parents.
Best wishes,
Deb
