Question QUESTION: Me24 & GF23.She hd her last prd on 4-6thSept(1st day).I hd unprotected sex on 20/09 & then she took an emergeny pill onthe same day eve.On22nd although i had not an intercourse but not sure dat my organ was not in contact with her ...On 1st Oct she said me dat she had vomiting but its true dat the previous night she had not slept and in vomitting undigested food particles had came.Some times her hand fingers get swollen and itche.Yesterday also she had fasting on 3rd Oct and also she is now suffering from mild fever and headache,weakness.Is there any sign of pregnancy although she says that she had her period on 3rd October 2009.Should I fear any more or what else should I do to get confirm.She is now in her mense week.Please plz answer me and help me.....also if she gets pregnant is there any pill now to stop it...........
ANSWER: Dear sourav,
Your gf is NOT pregnant if her period began October 3, 2009. A woman cannot be pregnant and have her menses at the same time.
In the future, yes there is a pill that can stop pregnancy, if taken within approximately the first two months of pregnancy. It is called RU-486. In the U.S., women can get this pill at a doctor's office. I am not sure how to get where you are from.

In the U.S., we can buy pregnancy tests at our stores that a woman can take at home to see if she is pregnant. I am not sure if you have them where you are. If you don't have these tests in a store where you can buy them, you'll have to have your girlfriend go to a doctor for a pregnancy test.
