Teen Pregnancy/Not sure if she's pregnant!

Question
Alright, so my girlfriend isn't sure if she is pregnant.
She is not ridiculously worried but she still is worried.
The only time we've had sex, I didn't fully go in, and I didn't come inside her. There was probably pre-cum but I hadn't come since the night before at the soonest and am positive I had gone to the bathroom at least once or twice after.
She says she is about 3 weeks late and she took two tests, it was really late at night around 2 AM.
One was negative and one was positive.

I am scared senseless and I don't know what to think. She is not overly worried about it so I don't know if I should be.
But I'm still scared!

Answer
Dear Dylan,

If everything you have told me is accurate, there is no way she is pregnant.  Urinating flushes any leftover sperm out of the urethra.

Something else must be wrong with her.  Have her take another test, only this time with you there to read the directions and to view the results with her,  and then go to the doctor if you are not satisfied with the results.  If you are absolutely sure you did not ejaculate inside of her, and she ends up being pregnant, I would say you are probably not the father.

Best wishes,

Deb
