Expert: Deborah - 2/22/2009

Question
i am 15 years old and me and my boy friend never had sexual intercourse but he does finger me. i am on the birth control shot but one day before school he he was fingering me and he came. he told me after words that he touched his self when he came  and then he fingered me again. i want to know came i be pregnant?

Answer
Dear Ashley,

Anytime sperm is placed in or near your vagina there is a possibility of pregnancy.  However, that chance is very small.  Also, you are on birth control, so why do you think it won't work at preventing pregnancy?

Is the shot up to date?  I mean, it did not expire, right?  If not, I don't think you are pregnant.  The shot is very effective.

Good luck,

Deb
