Question
I'm about 5 weeks pregnant and I'm 17. I'm having cramps like period cramps. Is that normal?

Answer
Hi Jeyma,
Firstly, congratulations on the pregnancy!
And yes around this stage of pregnancy cramping is normal. Also, you could continue to get a period for a little while. That is also normal. However, if you have any concerns you could contact your midwife and she would explain evertyhing.
If you don't have a midwife yet ask your doctor to contact a midwife and have then contact you back.
Hope everything goes well!
