Question
Ok I'm really confused if I'm pregnant or not. I'm 2 months late, I started bleeding really lightly about 4 days ago and it lasted for 2 days and stopped for a day then started again for about an hour and stopped, this has never happened before, my periods are normally regular. I have been having symptoms such as tender/tingly breats, frequent urination, cramping, bloating, head achs, nausia, food cravings, fatigue, strong mood swings, ect. I'm not on any birth control, I was on the pill but I have been off of it for about 4 months. I took 3 hpts and they came back negative and I took a blood test and it also came back negative, I did misscarry a few months ago so I don't know if that affects anything. How I could have gotten pregnant is really really odd. Its from 3 day old sperm (please don't judge me, I know its crazy but you don't know the whole situation.) but it was not dried up and I read it dosn't die if it is still moist. I have a feeling I am pregnant and everywere I look I see something to do with pregnancy, like its a sign or something. Mylast normal period was on March 12th and I think I concieved on March 18th. If I am pregnant I would be 7 weeks and 5 days. Please help me and ive me some good advice. Thank you

Answer
Dear Jacky,

When you got the blood test, did the doctor tell you why you were having all of those symptoms if you aren't pregnant?  If you didn't get an answer to that, call the doctor's office and ask them that question.

You could also request an ultrasound.  If you're pregnant, the doctor will see the embryo in your uterus.

Good luck,

Deb
