Question
During this month i have been feling constipated, nauseted, bloated before and after I eat, my breasts become tendor and sore, and in the beginning of the month I began to get headaches.I have been planning, but I stopped because I was stressing over it too much. I am sexually active but only with one person and I am trying to get pregnant, I did get my period this month (may) and although I took a home pregnancy test and the result was negative, is it possible was a false negative, and if it is negative ehy am I getting the symptoms?

Answer
Dear Gloria,

If you got your period, then you cannot be pregnant.  In order to be pregnant, an embryo would have to be implanted on a wall of your uterus, in the blood lining.  During your period, the entire blood lining comes off and comes out as blood in your period.  So you can see why it would be impossible to be pregnant AND have your period, right?

I wouldn't be able to know why you are having these symptoms without examining you and performing tests.  If they don't go away, maybe you should see your doctor so he can figure out what is wrong.

Best wishes,

Deb
