Teen Pregnancy - could i be pregnant

Expert: Deborah - 5/19/2009

Question
my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex and i had my period last month but this month we had sex again and i still haven't had my period its been 3 days since i was support to have my period and i have small craps once in a while in my pelvis area and my lower back hurts sometimes!
do you think i could be pregnant?

Answer
Dear melanie,

Did you have unprotected sex again?  Are you trying to get pregnant?  You very well might be.  If it has been at least 2 weeks since the sex
you can take a home pregnancy test.  If it hasn't been that long, wait until it has been 14 days before you take the test.

Best wishes,

Deb
