Question
QUESTION: "Ok, my question is, I had my period on July 14th and I had unprotected sex on August 4th or 5th, and I wanted to know if it was possible for me to get pregnant a week after i ovulated? But heres the thing from what I saw he only came on the outside of my vagina not in the inside. The next day I went to get the morning after pill, I was told to take 4 pills and the next 4 pills 12 hours later, but I took the second dose of the pills about 2 hour late and one of the four pills dissolved in my mouth before I got a chance to swallow it whole. So could I still be pregnant?? Please help!!"
P.S.
I tried asking another expert but she never replied back so hopefully you can help me out. I'm really scared since I just had a baby girl about 2 months ago and I definitely dont want another baby at the moment since I had so many complications with this pregnancy-fortunately I had the support of my family and my boyfriend was by my side through the whole pregnancy and I was warned to be careful whenever I got pregnant again!! Sorry I know its a very long messeage
ANSWER: It can be possible sweetie, noot likely, but possible. Taking the pill straight away is a very responsible thing to do, so you should be ok. Obviously the only thing you can is go to a doctor honey, who will test you straight away. Your daughters beautiful! I think you should think about another form of contraception rather than depending on the pill. Then ask your doctor or mum/dad to arrange an appointment at your local Family Planning/Sexual Health/Planned Parenthood clinic and get a contraceptive fitted. There are many widely available, and they are free of cost. I know most women depend on the pill and condom because they are the most common, but they are the least effective. I got pregnant both times whilst using a condom and on the pill, I'm a walking story that they don't work!
You can get the jag- which lasts around 1 month and there is no need for you to constantly remind to take it like you have to with the pill.
Coyle - Thats inserted inside the vagina, in a totally painfree quick second! Not even a need to go into hospital. Thats the prefered one for me, and the most effective. It lasts for 2 years without needing to get it reinserted etc, and if at anytime you decide you want to start a family, then go to the same clinic and ask for it to be removed, and you can try and concieve as early as the next day!
Implant- Much like the coyle, exept it gets inserted into the top of your arm. It relases a hormone which stops your period, making it impossible for you to get pregnant. You don't nneed to remind to take it, or get it refitted because it works for up to 2 years and the same as the coyle, if you want it removed to start a family it's no problem, and you can start concieving as early as the next day.
Thats just a few, there are many many more! You can find out about then at your local family planning clinic as I said before. You don't need a parent to go with you, you can go yourself, no matter what age you are.

QUESTION: Thank you so much for your answer!! And I loved the quickness of your response. Like I said before I had asked Diana(I think thats her name)but she never answered me back. Fortunately I got my period today in the morning so I have nothing to worry about. I have another question to ask you--what kind of contraceptive are you thinking about after you have your second child??
AnswerHey,
Oh that's great, nothing to worry about! Definetley not the pill, as it had no effect for me I got pregnant twice whilst on the pill. I'm thinking of either the Coyle or the Implant, they both last up too two years without needing renewed or remembering to take them. There really good, and 100% effective, if you're thinking of a contraceptive thats the one I recommend. YOu can find more about them at your doctors, Local family planning etc.
