Teen Pregnancy - Concerned about pregnancy information

Question
QUESTION: I was just wondering a few things about pregnancy information. Does pre-cum have sperm in it to get you pregnant? Also how long does sperm live in a womans body to get her pregnant? I know nothing about medical stuff so if you could please try to explain this in a very simple way. Thank You!

ANSWER: Dear Christin,

Precum does not have sperm in it, however there is a way sperm can get mixed in with it.

If a man has sex or masturbates, he usually has some sperm leftover in his penis afterward.  When a man urinates, this leftover sperm gets washed away.  The only way sperm can get mixed up in precum is if a man has sex or masturbates and then has sex with a woman and he doesn't urinate in between.

Sperm lives somewhere between 5 and 7 days in a woman's body.

Best wishes,

Deb

QUESTION: Thank you for that answer. I was also wondering if I had sex January 28th with a condom but he said it busted then changed it and said that it didnt bust (im not sure if it really did or not) and then again on Febuary 4th without a condom then I find out im pregnant and they told me that i conceived around Febuary 4th. Then which one would have got me pregnant? The guy from the 28th or the guy from the 4th?

Answer
I can not tell you for sure, but it would seem more likely to be the guy from the 4th, because you
were ovulating that very day.  The sperm from the January event would have had to live for 7 days, and that is a pretty long time for sperm to live, even though some studies have said it is possible.

You will need to do a DNA test on the child to be 100% sure.

Best wishes,

Deb
