Question
i am 22 weeks pregnant, and i was wondering if my mom having a c-section would mean that i might have a c-section because of genes?
i was also wondering do they cut your vagina open during birth??

Answer
Dear Patricia,

No, you will not have any increased chance of a C-section because your mother had one.

No, the doctor will NOT be cutting your vagina open during birth.

The next time you see your doctor, please have them explain to you exactly what will happen during childbirth.

Best wishes,
