Question
Well, around April me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex and he came in me, but he did that 2 days after i was done with my period, also five days after he came in me, i took a morning after pill. a week later i got my period, so i assumed i wasn't pregnant, but just to be safe i took a home pregnancy test 2 weeks later, and it came out negative. Ever since then i haven't gotten my period and I'm really worried. Its almost 5 months that i didn't get my period. Twice every month, between April and now, i have been taking pregnancy test (either at home or at the clinic) but they all come out negative. i know I'm not pregnant, but it just scares me that i haven't gotten my period. my period is irregular but i had it for 3 yrs already and i assume that it would have already regulated, plus the longest i haven't gotten my period other than now is about 3 to 4 months.  So am i pregnant?

Answer
Dear Cristina,

You should go to a doctor's officer and have a blood test for pregnancy.  There are some cases of women being pregnant but urine tests come out negative.  If you aren't pregnant, at least the doctor can find out why you haven't had your period for so long.

Good luck,

Deb
