Question
i had unprotected sex last wednesday night and wos due for my period on like saturday it is now monday and i did bleed a small bit this morning i am very woried and not sure on what too think. can you help me settle my nerves a bit i could be just paranoid but im not sure!

Answer
Dear fionah,

Since you are expecting your period so soon after sex, it sounds like you shouldn't be pregnant.  However, even though you may not be pregnant this time, it doesn't mean it can't happen next time.  It is best to just realize you can never be really sure when you are going to ovulate, therefore there is no real "safe" time to have unprotected sex.

Good luck,

Deb
