Teen Pregnancy - Is my woman pregnant?

Question
QUESTION: Me and this girl had sex and when we changed positions, apparently the condom fell off. Neither of us noticed and we continued and I came in her. 5 hours later she took the 1st pill of 'Plan B' and then 12 hours after that she took the 2nd pill of 'Plan B.' She also bled during intercourse, I had blood on my penis when I pulled out and was done. She is late on her period a week, is she pregnant?

ANSWER: Dear Timothy,

The only way to tell if she is pregnant is to have her take a home pregnancy test.  You can buy these at any drug store.  Her being late for her period could be related to taking Plan B.

Good luck,

Deb

QUESTION: I mean but what are the chances? I thought our odds looked great that she wasn't?

Answer
It's hard to tell because there is conflicting evidence.  On the one hand, having blood on your penis means she was just finishing her period when the condom fell off, right?  So that means the odds of her being pregnant are very low.  Also, she took Plan B right away, and the sooner it is taken the faster it works, so that is also good news.

Her being late for her period is the conflicting part, but that could be attributed to the Plan B.

I would say the chances are very, very small that she could be pregnant.

Deb
