Question hello im not going to say my real name so i will say secrect. N-E-way my boy friend got this girl pregnet the first time they had sex but she had an abortion. then they broke up, around valentines day we got together and had sex. later he told me that his ex got pregnet near christmas but had an abortion. so then i began to get worried that the samething might happen. then a couple days later i never got my period after we had sex(i got off 3 days before we had sex) but i thought it was nothing. then the whole month i never got my period but when the next month i got it but it was different i was more heavyer and i kept getting headache and i was always tired and being lazy(not like normal) and i was on for like a week and some days when im normaly on for 4 days. when i fineally got off i was fine but in the middle of the period i remember it hurting all the time and i felt like it was something stuck and cant get out. then when i got off i was fine and back to my normal ways and i went back to my normal cycle 4 days. is it possible that i was pregnet or was something else wrong.

It is possible that you could have been pregnant and had a miscarriage. Did you ever take a pregnancy test? That's the only way to know for sure if you are pregnant or not. It sounds to me like it could have been a miscarriage but it could have also just been related to nerves and stress amoung other things. Sometimes periods just do strange things. Did you ever see a doctor about what was going on? If you think you are or were pregnant, it is important to see a doctor as soon as possible. If you had been pregnant, prenatal care is very important. Even if you were pregnant and had a miscarriage, it still is a good idea to see a doctor just to make sure that everything came out. Fetal tissue that is left inside your uterus can cause infections. Seeing a doctor is also important to get tested for STD's and a Pap exam. It's not a pleasant thing for any woman to do, but obviously your boyfriend has had unprotected sex before and STD's do get passed around.
I can't really tell you what happened to you. It could be a number of things. My best guess would be either an early miscarriage, stress causing a period to be late, or just a normal hormone change. Some women miss a period every now and then. It's normal, but if you miss more than two or three in a row and/or have other problems, you should see a doctor just to be on the safe side. The only 100% way to avoid pregnancy is by not having sex at all. Even the pill and patch aren't 100% effective, even when you use them correctly. (Most women end up with a mutliple pregnancy if they get pregnant using hormonal contraceptives.
