Question hi, i have no clue as to whether i am even in the right place to ask this kind of question but there is this one tv show that i want to remember the title of and it's been bother ring like no other and as you said you like 80s teen movies and such, i was hoping you'll be able to remember it.
i am sure this show was in the 80s ish... it was about a girl with curly brown hair, slightly husky kind of voice (with maybe a single mother???) and the central theme/repetitive concept of the show was about how she would come back at night and sit by her window talking to the moon like it was her diary...
also, i am not sure if this is the right show i am connecting with, but i think there was this episode where the main character (the brown hair girl) wants to go to a school dance but her mom coudlnt' afford to buy her a new dress so they get one from salvation but when she actually goes to the dance, it ends up her worst enemy actually donated that dress and makes sure to tell her in front of the whole school by ripping out the flower that was hiding the stain on the dress...
do you by any chance remember this show? yes i am this despearte, i am so curious!!!!

I am not 100% positive, but the show yoou are describing sounds like a show called "The Torkelsons". They were down south, and the youngest daughter had long curly hair, and they weren't rolling in the dough. I believe this is the show you are asking about. Thanks for writing.
