i am trying to find out if there will be a new series/repeats of this prog.i would like to watch it from the begining if possible.

Hi Russoreilly,
Currently the sixth season of The Tribe is being written after Cloud 9 (the company who makes it) moved to Australia recently. There isn't a lot of news about it at the moment.
I can't tell you about any repeats since I don't know which country you live in.
However if you have a DVD player that plays region 2 DVDs or is a multi region DVD player then Series 1 is already out on DVD with plans for the rest of the series to follow.

Answer The last series shown in the UK was Series 5, but Channel 5 has since decided that they don't want to show the Tribe any more(they gave a stupid excuse such as it didn't fit in with the targeted age group I think), and they helped fund filming the Tribe. They have since shown interest in showing the Tribe again but news is practically non-existent on that front.
Also having emailed Five and read other repsonses from other people who have emailed them I don't think they will show repeats anytime soon sadly-of course you're free to try emailing them youself- customerservices@five.tv .
Other than that it looks like Tribe fans are going to have to wait for the release of DVDs.
