I was a teenage girl once so I've been through a lot in all my years. I may not have experienced all parts of being a teenager, but I have friends who have.

Question
Alright, so I'm a sophomore and I sit next to this guy in my english class. He's constantly teasing me, and making up rumors involving me. It really gets frustrating sometimes, so I just play along. I was just wondering, does he like me or something? Or is he really being mean to me (because I've heard from people that he has a crappy personality)? But what's also weird is that he's slightly nicer and doesn't tease me when his friends aren't around. If they come over to where we sit, then he just automatically becomes really mean to me. And he claims that he doesn't tease me or is a jerk to me. I have no clue what's going on here. I don't think he likes me, but I don't know for sure. What exactly is going on here?

Answer
Lena -

It sounds like this is his way of showing you he likes you. Boys are immature and just like they did in elementary school by pulling your hair, they show off in front of their friends by giving you crap and then when they're gone they're fine.

So he's just showing you he likes you by teasing you, plain and simple.
