Question
Hi, im 16 years old almost 17 years old..Im just going to try to make this short and sweet =p, umm lately i have been thinking about life and like all the people close to me dying, its to the point where im almost crying because im afraid somthing is going to happend to my mom, and im afraid worrying about this is magically going to make somthing happend, my mom is my life, my mom n dad split up, most of the people i cared about moved out and its just my mom and me, and if anything happend to her i wouldnt know what to do, is this normal? its freakin me out cuss im paranoid somthing is going to happend if i keep worrying about these things.

Answer
Hi Ray,

I found your question in the pool here and will try to answer it as best I can. what you are feeling is normal as far as how much you love and care for your mom. I think that it is so wonderful that you do. as far as the thing about believing something is gone to happen to her, don't.  I'm sure she has a very long time before you should even start thinking like that. the best thing to do is to enjoy everyday with her and make each one of them special. instead of wasting time wondering about the "what if" enjoy your time with her and be the best son you can. those are the things that you want to think about and remember as will she.
