Question okay, so me and my girlfriend had sex last night and i was using a condom.
i didn't realize it broke till after i finished. she just ended her period today.
when i realized i came inside her i tryed to get as much of it out as i could.
What are the chances she may get pregnant?
Answer Hey there Mitchell,
Whenever there is a chance that semen or pre-cum comes into contact with the vagina, there is a chance of pregnancy. Condoms are quite sensative and that is why you do need to be careful when putting them on and they are usually something likely 97%+ effect as a contraceptive...but as you have experienced they can be quite delicate and that is why, in future, it is important to check whether or not the condom has any holes in before sex...the easiest way of doing this is put putting the condom on and seeing if there is air in the tip (this needs to be squeezed out). If there is air in the tip, it is unlikely that there is a hole in the condom as this wouldn't happen if there was. So if, the next time you put a condom on, there is no air in the tip that you can feel and you are not 100% sure that it is hole free, just use another one. Make sure you are careful with it taking it out of the packaging and don't use your teeth as this could tear it...they are delicate.
I think it is important that you keep an eye on your girlfriend and that she gets a pregnancy test within the next couple of days. This way, if she is pregnant, it is likely to be picked up and then you can both discuss your options. If not, then you have learnt your lesson.
I do have to say however, that it does seem incredibly unlikely that she would become pregnant...but it has happened with other people so there is deffinately a distinct possibility...but the only way you will really know either way is if she gets a pregnancy test. You may jizz a lot during sex but all it takes is for one of the millions of sperm you ejaculate to get on the right path and then....your whole life could begin to change course.
The only way you will stop worrying is if she does a test and that way, you can both be sure and you can stop worrying. If she doesn't, then you are not going to know either way and you may either be worrying for nothing or end up having to deal with something you were not expecting in the future.
