Question Well I live with my grandparents but I'm more close with my Grandmother. I moved in about a year ago. Everything was nice. I felt vary welcome from the grandparents I neverseen in my life. Than I would do drugs but I stopped. Than I left school because there was just alot of drama that i didn't want in my life. Since than my nana has been treating me like shit. I've been trying to talk to her but after that we are still like... mad at eachother. All the time. It came to the conclusion that instead of feeling welcome I feel like i should leave because i dnt belong here. Before I looked this up i wanted to enroll into an online high school and she was talking to her mother and she told her i was as dumb as she was. That really hurt my feelings... alot. I know it seems like I take everything seriously but i really dnt it's just i feel like she hates me. After what happened I asked her if she really thought I was dumb and so we got into this little argument and she ended saying sometimes she thinks I am. I mean you dnt say that to your grandchild you know. Now it got to the point where I feel like I should just leave i dnt know what to do.
Answer maybe your grandparents do love you very much they just don't like to see there grandson do things like drugs, getting into trouble, and dropping out of school and they don't know how to handle it, i would suggest doing little things like helping around the house or renting a movie for you all to watch to show them that hey im a nice guy if you get to know me and study hard and prove not just to them but to yourself that you ARE smart because you are, you seem like a mature person who knows what he wants and is determined but just prove to your parents that you aren't "dumb' and i really think sometimes ppl say things they regret and i bet after a few days pass your grandma will regret that she said that ... you are NOT dumb do NOT let anyone let you think that you are!!!
