Answer Hi Brandie. The thing about any form of sexual activity is that you have to be sure you’re ready and you want it, and that you are being safe. Condoms are essential, especially with anal, and I’m sure you can tell why when you really think about it… Your vagina lubricates itself naturally but with anal you need artificial lubricant and lots of it. Get a water based one, and make sure you use a lot. Make sure your boyfriend is very careful and goes slowly because it is very sensitive and some women bleed after anal. Not all, but some, so just be prepared. It will feel quite uncomfortable and it might hurt but as long as you are relaxed, lots of lube and he goes slowly then you should be okay. As I said before, use a condom and make sure you are ready and relaxed. There are no doubt plenty of other tips on the internet, but this is the main stuff I can think of. Best of luck with things.
