I will be candid with you, "Once a cheater, always a cheater" that's is what lot of people say. Trust your own guts and feelings whether to trust him or not. It depends on situation. You are only one who make such a personal decision not from anyone's advice because "they" are not ones who caught him cheating. YOU ARE ONE WHO MAKE THIS CHOICE YOURSELF.
I just be honest with you, if it were me, GOOD-BYE and just be remain friends for your own sake.
