Subject: 12yr old son & porn

Question
I'm a single parent Mom & have 12yr old twin (boy/girl) and a 15yr old daughter.  My problem is that my 12yr old son continues to watch porn on the family computer when the girls & i aren't around.  I've told him not to visit those sites, it depicts disrepect towards women in general.  Yet i know many kids his age are watching them.  Being his Mom & having two daughers that are freaked out about their brother looking at that...am i doing the right thing in telling him "Don't look at that"  I want him to be a normal teen but to respect the fact he has sisters and respect women in general.

Answer
Hi Sandy,

You are correct about telling him to not visiting those porn sites. He is way too young and illegal for age under 21 to view it. You are legally responsible for his actions.

May I suggest you to order a special software that will block out any porn sites and filters installed on the computer. You will have a peace of mind, he won't be able to visit porn or nasty sites again on the family computer.

Give it a shot 14 days trial, if you like it and you can buy it from website.

Good luck and you have a nice day.
