AM i depressed?
ANSWER: Hello,
Can you include ages and a basic breakdown of your day for the last few days? I will also be recommending some websites. Due to the above message I do recommend your doctor for a very basic test too.
QUESTION: Im 13 and normally my day is:
Schooldays:
Wakeup, go to school, come home, talk to my friends online, watch some tv, normally talk to them again, and maybe go ride my bike. Those days are fine.
Weekends:
Ill wake up, and go online to talk to people, if they're on. If not i will probably watch tv, but nothing is on! Maybe i will play a computer game..But thats pretty much my weekend.
Answer Hello again,
I'm just checking to see how you are doing. It's possible it's just boredom(possible right now minor teenage depression), yet your actions tell me you are at risk for depression. I hope I have helped you so far.
Please talk to your parents and your doctor also about such.
Please ask follow ups
Hello,
Because I'm not a psychologist I cannot state people have depression or even treat people with depression. I think you should talk to a doctor about your feelings and get a professional test. Depression is not uncommon.
Based on what you told me below it's possible you have minor teenage depression which is very common, however, I could be totally wrong.
I recommend to go bike riding more, yet remember safety and such. I recommend to go to the gym more with your parents or friends anw work out there. Remember safety. You are spending too much time on the computer and this could be causing those feelings. Now, this won't treat the depression at hand, yet it could help deal with some of those feelings.
Here are some more questions I have:
How do you do in school?
Are you popular?
Lazy?
Talk to a lot of people?
By your self?
Enjoy school?
Favorite subject?
Online friends or school friends online? For how long per day? And mainly just chat about anything or about school and life?
What type of TV shows do you watch? How long?
How long with bike riding? By your self or others?
What type of computer games online?
Please ask follow ups
Certain actions people do can cause depression. Are you close to your parents? Brothers or sisters?
Has anything recently changed that caused those feelings? School started? Any clubs in school? Less friends?
