Question I have my landline phone number blocked so that the recipients do not see my number. I know there is a code to use to unblock this number if you would place a call where you would want your number to be seen. Do you know the code? Oh, I have AT&T.
Answer Cheryl,
The "code" to dial is *82 (or from rotary phones dial: 11-82)
You can find this information and more in the front of your Telephone Directory under: Customer Guide or Services.
Remember, unblocking your call only works on that call, as soon as you disconnect, your number will be blocked again.
