Topic: Telecom (Phone, Fax, E-mail)

Subject: *82 while trying to send fax

Question
I'm trying to fax from work to a private fax. The fax keeps indicating needs a *82. On our fax we have to dial an 8 before the number. I've tried 8*82 then #, *82 then#. The recipient says they have had no problem reciiving faxes from othe people. What am I doing wrong?

Answer
Try Calling Your Cell Phone From The Fax And See What Number Combo Works There. Then Try The Same Thing To Fax To That Fax #...You May Need To Put A *2 At End Of Fax Because It Is Using A Com Share Device...
Better Yet, Call It From Your Office Phone And See What You Get As An Answer...It May Ring Till You Dial *2...
Let Me Know!
Carmine
