Question Hello Spencer,
We sell marketing campaigns to chiropractors in various markets, so when we sign up a client in, say, NPA 805 and run our television ads in that area we want calls only from customers in that market. It's similar to the 1-800 - DENTIST model, where dentists all over the country get calls from ads run in their NPA, and even designated exchanges.
Are you familiar with these advanced features? Evidently what we need is Area Code Exchange Routing and Quick Call Allocator. This presumably allows us to advertise a national toll free number in different markets and generate calls only from that individual market. We've been dealing with AT&T but _it is painful_. Incompetent, unresponisve people and just generally tough to get anythhing done. We've been trying to set this up with AT&T since May.
Do you know of any other Telco that has their act together that might be able to provide us with similiar services?
Thank you
Earl

Answer Hi Earl,
I'm sorry you've had so much trouble getting a simple 800# with area code routing installed.
Unfortunatly, AT&T is the ONLY company that I Know anything about on a service level, and this SHOULD have been a very easy order. I can only suggest you contact AT&T again, asking for a supervisor to take your request, and ask him/her to follow through to ensure your order was placed and is up and running. Spencer
