Subject: Mobile's Modem to browse Internet on Laptop ???

Question
One of my customer has asked me to point him in the right direction as how EXACTLY does he go about using his mobile's modem to browse Internet over his laptop. He said, his friend did so, so it seems it IS possible.

I was sadly not quite in the position to answer his question, since I'm yet to enlighten myself with it.

I wonder if you could possibly tell me EXACTLY how could this be possibly achieved, as if there any cable OR software needed to do so & how exacly could this be done ???

Speaking of connecting modem with laptop, what are the other things that could possible be transferred to & from laptop & mobile ???

Answer
Hello Darsh,
I Am Confused A Little.
Mobile As In Cell Phone?
If So, They Make Cellular PCMCIA Cards For Laptop Computers, You Plug Them Into Slot On Side Of Computer And Away You Go. Yes You Pay For It. How Much ?
That Is The Only Way I Know Of...
Contact Your Cell Phone Company And Ask Them,
Or A Computer Store Like Comp USA etc.

Carmine
