Question
I purchased (on-line) and installed a Panasonic phone system with voice mail m odule. The central unit is a KXTD816 Hybrid. Since the 30 day period for returns is over, I cannot send it back. My problem is that the unit won't allow me to program it either via laptop or phone unit. It is still under warranty. Local dealers will make a service call to check the programming for a fee for a fee but they say I must deal with Panasonic regarding parts or repair. Is there anything I can do beyond just following the reset procedure in the manual?
