Question
Dear Expert:

I have Panasonic cordless phone KX-TG2423 (XXXX) model ,recently before two months I bough it
And because of my child I used the dial lock service which is available in the telephone setting
After that I tried to open the dial lock by the same password but it doesn't work

I looked for and key inside or outside the device to reset the phone to the factory setting but I could not find

Please advise me how I can reset my telephone to the factory setting or remove  the dial lock of my cordless phone

Best Regards

Zad Rof

Answer
Try unpluging the base unit from the power outlet and telephone jack. Then remove the handset from the base unit, turn on the handset and let the battery drain (overnight should do it). This should drain your phone and erase ALL settings. Plug the base unit back in to the power outlet and telephone jack, turn the handset off and charge (again overnight). Your phone should now be as it was when you brought it home the 1st time. You may want to contact Panasonic for more information. Spencer
