Question
My fax machine starts trying to connect when I am in the middle of a telephone call and interrupts my conversation.  I have purchased a new phone system, Uniden cordless 5.8GHz and a new fax machine, Lexmark.  I have connected the equipment together according to the instructions with the fax machine. I have been experienceing this problem for over a year. With old equipment and now new equipment. I am still having this problem. I have called manufacturers of both the telephone and fax machines and also my local telephone company. I have been unable to find any help in resolving this problem.  Any advice you could give me will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Bob

Answer
Hello Bob,
I have the same problem and know the only cure would be to
connect the telephone to PHONE jack on the fax machine...
Having the phone on the line before the fax machine Causes
It to think (HEAR) That A Fax is coming in...
Try the phone jack thing, it will work...
Being you are using a cordless phone anyway, No big change.
