which automatically changes to fax. Maybe services like these are offered.

Answer What I Am Understanding Is That You Are Looking To Utilize
A Standard Type Of Telephone On A Telephone System And Be Able To Receive Fax's Also On It.
The Standard Telephone Thing Is Defeating The Use Of Features On A Telephone System.
The System Would Also Need To Have An Auto-Attendant VoiceMail with Fax Capabilities To Do This.
Cost Is In The Thousands Of Dollars...
