Question -
Hi Spencer -  How do I buy a 1-800 number from a fellow?  I think he has to transfer it to my phone company, but how does he transfer it and how do I pay him?   If I pay him first he might not transfer it, and if he transfers it first he may think that I won't pay him.

Do I have to transfer it or can I just sign up with his phone company?

Thank you

Earl
Answer -
Earl, I would need to know what company has the number in service and what company you would be moving it to before answering your question. Best advice: Call The service provider and ask for guidance. Spencer

Answer
Earl, please do! After you find out the information, I think you'll find you will need to have him release it to you. The service provider will advise what needs to be done, along with sending HIM some forms to be filled out. Let me know if you need any help, Spencer
