Experience I have been working in this area as a consumer advocate for several years. Began as a challenge to help some local seniors save some money, but has become more of a crusade. Virtually all standard phone companies' long distance service is overpriced, particularly in high cost states such as Nevada, Arizona and Missouri. Have published a consumer's guide to longer distance phone service in major newspapers.

Expert: Stephen W. Leslie Date: 10/2/2007 Subject: Where to find phone call manager?
Question Hello Stephen, I generate phone calls for several advertisers from online
ads. These calls go through a 'hosted phone' site called Voicestar
(voicestar.com).
Calls are tracked and forwarded from Voicestar to my customers. I need a
sharp dependable person who can learn the Voicestar setup to manage my
phone calls. I've looked over several discussion forums but can't seem to find
the right place to look. Any ideas where I might find someone?
Answer Michael:
This really isn't my specific area of expertise (I deal more with long distance rates and comparisons of various companies long distance costs). My only suggestion is to look at an answering service that might do this for a small monthly fee.
Let me know if you'd like me to check your phone bill. Essentially, anything over $0.04 per minute is too much, even for 800 number service. If you have any reasonable landline phone volume, the cost can easily be less if you know how and who to negotiate with.
