Question having trouble receiving faxes because I have voice mail..I've tried various settings and still can't automatically receive faxes, must do it manually (meaning I must be home). If I do another setting people can't leave voice messages when I'm not home.
Answer You didn't state what's happening, but I'm going to asssume that your voice mail is coming on, and "zapping" your incoming fax's.
Try setting your voice mail to come on after 4 rings and your fax to answer after 2-3, or any combination that is close. You want your fax to answer before your voice mail has a chance to "grab" the call. Your voice mail/telephone company should be able to porvide you with the information on voice mail pickup settings.
