Question
I am interested in doing general transcription.

Are there some ways to use the internet to see if there is a demand for that field?

Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Sallie,
General transcription is a growing field. And yes, you can find work on the Internet. You need to have experience and often pass a typing test.

Use job search websites such as Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com and Craiglist.com. Also consider the paid telecommuting databases (lists of current work-at-home jobs) as when I find general transcription jobs, they are usually posted there.

You can get more information at http://www.workathomesuccess.com/work-from-home-job-search.html

Also consider signing up for the Work-At-Home Success newsletter. Its free and provides jobs each week in a variety of areas. It also comes with a free Jobs Online report.
