Subject: Short term training

Question
Do you know of some short term classes (like 6 mos or less) that you can receive certifcations or good training, and then start your own business, particularly working from home.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Sallie,
I'm not aware of "courses" specifically in "working from home". However, you can find training in career areas such as medical transcription or copywriting, and many others.

I find that the books on starting a home business are quite good at helping you sort out ideas, get necessary "legal" stuff taken care of, marketing basics and strategies for running a business.

There are many great websites and articles posted online to help with that as well.
